Any trades you want your team to make?
I'm hoping the Mariners trade Jarrod Washburn, Russell Branyan, and somehow Erik Bedard. Washburn and Branyan's trade values have never been higher than they are right now, and Washburn's a FA after this season. I don't dislike any of them, just feel like it's best for the organization that they be moved for prospects. Bedard is making the DL his second home, so I don't want him on the team any more, and though the Orioles robbed Bill Bavasi, any amount of value back for Bedard would make me a happy camper. Go Jack Z!

I hope my team realizes by the time I'm 30 that they better have a winning team or I'm done.
McCutchen that means you're staying in Pittsburgh for forever.

My Tigs have been in forst for the lsat 2 and a half months, The pitching has carried them the whole time. We really need some bats. I' dlove to see us go after Sanchez and Duke from Pitt. Apperently the Tigs and Pirates have been scouting us for the last week. Adam Dunn or Cody Ross would be nice to.

Freddy's a fan favorite and has been a solid player for Pittsburgh..
He's nothing spectacular though. Can hit around .300, and is a double machine. Not spectacular defenseively.

I am not a Yankees fan but I have a soft spot (NOT A DIE HARD FAN JUST SOFT SPOT) for them (it's a weird reason why any team that wears my fav. color BLUE is a team I'll have a soft spot for UNLESS THEY ARE FROM BOSTON hate ALL BOSTON TEAMS, DIE BOSTON FANS.)
and since I live in Waldorf, MD (pretty close to DC.) I follow the Nationals a little. Rather then follow the Orioles.
BUT PRETTY MUCH I love EVERY TEAM in Baseball (except BOSTON, hate all BOSTON sports teams) and hope they do well.
as for Yankees I hope they get into Hallday and if not, they should definitely explore adding another SP, Joba is a huge question mark and I don't trust Mitre that much, and I doubt Wang is going to be effective anymore ATLEAST for this season.
so maybe trade for Washburn or Bedard or possibly a Randy Wolf someone who can be mid rotation guy for atleast the rest of this season, maybe go after Wandy Rodriguez.
as for Nationals they need to get their ****ing heads together and get Strausberg sign Strausberg already.
with Stausberg, Lannen, Halladay, Martis, and Scott Olsen they could have ONE OF THE BEST PITCHING STAFF in BASEBALL.
I would give up Ryan Zimmerman, another top hitting prospect, Ross Detwiler, and Jordan Zimmerman, and Adam Dunn or Nyjer Morgan (as sweetners) for Roy Halladay.
but seriously the Nationals have Lannen, Olsen, Detwiler, Zimmerman, Martis, and if they sign him Strausberg.
they need to trade either Martis, Detwiler, or Olsen and try to add a power bat to the line-up as Dunn is going to be a FA, and Ryan Zimmerman needs some protection.
I also think their NL EAST BUDDIES Marlins and Phillies need to make a move ASAP.
it's about that TIME AGAIN, the Marlins do it every time, every 6 years they try to win WS (1997, 2003, and MAYBE 2009.)
they need to add another bat in line-up (Adam Dunn maybe?) to help solidify their spot for wildcards, because they got TALENT but they just need that one extra slugger that can help them out and Dunn is the guy.
as for the Phillies they are really being B*tches as far as the deal goes with Halladay, they think they can get Lee for cheaper they are crazy.
they should give up Drabek, maybe not Brown, but DEFINITELY Drabek, he already had Tommy John's surgery once and you think he might become a great Pitcher PLZZ.
not saying he sucks but with that type of injury there's a lot of risk and reward for that player.
I say same deal (Jason Donald, Michael Taylor OR Lou Marson, J.A. Happ, and Kyle Drabek) for Roy Halladay, I say keep Carrasco over Happ as Carrasco is waaay better then Happ.
both sides should be happy.
If not expect Indians wanting similar deal but instead of 4 players 3.
so prolly Carrasco, Happ, and Jason Donald for Cliff Lee. Indian might consider switching one of pitchers with Marson as they are considering moving Victor Martinez too.
PS: sorry for putting all this in ONE HUGE post, but that's better then doing 5 separately and besides I put spaces in them LOL.

'slong as the M's get a mid-infield prospect like Jason Donald from the Phillies or Alcines Escobar from the Brewers in return for Bedard/Washburn, it's a win. Some pitching prospects wouldn't be too bad either. Neither would JJ Hardy if the BrewCrew feel Escobar is too much to give up.
Btw, nice post Atlanta.

I mean, Washburn's had an outstanding year, and if Bedard finds it, and quits getting injured, he's an ace. I wouldn't mind Hardy as an instant replacement at SS. Cedeno's a good defensive guy, but he hasn't been able to hit for peanuts.

If Clement pans out, he'd be good. Good hitting lefty, average hitting 1B. If his defense were better at catcher, he'd be an above average hitting catcher. Cedeno's a plus defensive SS IMO, he's in a 0-25 slump hitting-wise though. And then 3 pitching prospects. Not bad for an aging SS, and a SP that is depressed.

Wilson is the best defensive SS in the game today.. Mark it down on that one..
Snell is a stud that is waiting to be unleashed. Mark that one down too.. You guys robbed us. We will suck for the next 17 years.

We will suck for the next 17 years. your crazy with Wilson, he is nowhere close to the best defensive SS in Baseball, Scutaro, Ayabar, and Furcal are just as good as Wilson defensively. and as for Ian Snell, that's now what I read or heard from fellow Pirates fans, I heard that Ian Snell has good stuff but he sucks a lot and self destructs a lot like Carlos Zambrano does (not the crazyness that Carlos does it with though.)

Ian has had problems with depression.. That's why he sucked in the majors..
This deal is going to benefit the Mariners a lot more than it'll benefit the Pirates.

WOW!!!!!!! Tigers just got Washburn! Great deal for the Tigers, A top 3 of JV, E-JAX, and Washburn is just sick. Plus we didn't give up a whole lot to get him, Luke French and a prospect. Now If they can go get a bat this team is set for a deep playoff run.
