HAHA. No, we will base off of longer-term than JUST the first couple months. Griffin is a 79 now. If he puts up 25 and 10, we'll be like damn, he's good. Let's go up maybe 2 points. Then, if he keeps it up all season, we put him up to an 85 or so after the season.
We're not going to be stupid with this, give us a little credit.

DET yes we always discussed halfway through, and i distinctly remember us doing some changes the one year, at the all-star break. Maybe I'm wrong, but I honestly remember doing it.
Even if it was not done over there (I still think it was), I think it is a good idea.

Still, why can't we take a vote? It's not like 80% say do it.

I'm refusing to take a vote on this..
I think this is a GREAT idea and it's realistic. Sometime a commissioner has to step up and do something he feels is best for the league. This is my way of doing that.

Just like Barack huh DEN? Just to put to a vote and EVERYONE will respect the outcome. Remember when the TC was retarded in Rim and we FINALLY got to elect TC people, remember how much better Rim was? League votes are great and encourages activity, but meh whatever.

I'm either going to innovate or ruin.. It's worth a try though.. Without risk there is nothing.
This is a risk, but it's going to prevail.. have faith in your Commissioner.

You guys take ratings way to seriously, McGrady might go down in durability but we'll bump up his other stuff so his rating stays the same! How stupid does that sound? Lets bump him in scoring a couple extra points so his overall stays the same. No. Thats so stupid. Hes injury prone and if his rating goes down 3-4 points due to durability then so be it. A lot of people here look way into ratings, if I had full access to the game, I could realistically build a team of 75-80 rated players and probably win a championship. A guy like Rose might not have good shooting range so to speak, but I am sure his ball handling rating is pretty fucking high.

I understand it won't be drastic but it's still BS. Also we are going to put WAY too much stock in the 1st 2 months of the season.

Obama makes one mistake and people jump him.. Obama has been in office for less than a year and you hate him because he's a Democrat.

We'll put his durability down, but make sure his rating stays the same/close to the same (I say no lower than 85 personally) by raising other stats if needed - OKC GM in this thread.

I think the ratings should change right now. I know it sucks for the ppl who traded just because of ratings but that is their own faults. When you trade you have to check everything about the player his age, upside downside IRL, which team their on to see if they will get playing time or what not and if their rating will go up or down. I think you should think that all through before you trade, so make better planning next time.

I remember having ratings changes in Legends and in D5...maybe in RR1 too...I didnt read all the thread/posts so I'm not following it really, but I think that ratings changes are good even if a player downgrades, at least keeps the league realistic...
and whats with the racists things lol?

I think you took me out of context, I want an African American in the senate and was asking you if you did...not sure how you get "immature" or "disrespectful" out of that. PS. I'm glad you remember me from RR1, cause I don't remember you.

Well I mean are you going to answer my question, do you want an African American in the Senate? I don't care if you are Black or not, you need to answer that. I won't let you continue in the league until I am sure you aren't a racist because I don't go for that shit....you can insult me all you want but I would take a bullet for an African American man.

What sarcasm? If they hadn't seated Ronald Burris (only African American in the Senate) I was going to fly to Nevada and protest Harry Reid not wanting to seat him. Now that was racist, and it's racist that Mr. Burris can't get enough campaign funds to run for reelection. It fucking pisses me off, he is acutally my favorite Senator too.
I hope you learn before you go around calling racist you learn the facts, because you will never see a bigger Ronald Burris supporter than me.

We'll put his durability down, but make sure his rating stays the same/close to the same (I say no lower than 85 personally) by raising other stats if needed - OKC GM in this thread. We're saying, TMac still has the same skills. He's just more injury prone now. The way to reflect that in the game is lower his durability - making him injury prone in the game basically. If that lowers his rating too much (I have no idea exactly what it will do, as far as the rating), we might raise a couple things a little bit, see if anything is off. Makes sense.
